The Description Of This End-Time Babylon

Notice the similarities to America as this end-time Babylon is described in scripture and make your own decision.

  •  Rev. 18:3 Merchants of the earth were made rich by the abundance of her delicacies.
  •  Rev. 18:7 She hath glorified herself (esteemed above others) She lives deliciously ( luxuriously) I sit as a Queen and am no widow. ( I sit without lacking anything, and know no grief.
  •  Rev. 18: 9-16 Read the description of a nation who has a wealthy economy and is a world trade center.
  •  Jeremiah 50:12 She has a "mother" country that will be confounded or ashamed of her for the things she does. Also, she is the " hindermost" ( last, or youngest) of Nations. Not just a single city. The word " city" used here means populous.
  •  Jeremiah 50:37 \plain She is a Nation of "mingled people" ( mixed nationalities) The Statue of Liberty proclaims; "Give me your poor, huddled masses, and we will make a great nation."
  •  Jeremiah 50:23 She is the " hammer " of the whole earth. (an authority, sets policy)
  •  Jeremiah 51:13 She sits on " many waters" ( America is surrounded by Oceans and Great Lakes )
  •  Jeremiah 51:53 She shall "fortify" ( forces and security) to the height of strength, and shall " mount up" to the heavens ( sounds like star war technology )
  •  Isaiah 13:19 She shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah (rampant homosexuality, sexual perversion)

What other Nation on earth would fit all these descriptions ?

 

Why is God Bringing Such Destruction on This Babylon ?

  •  Jeremiah 50:24 She is snared and shall be taken because she has "striven against" God.( rebellion against God's principles for man to live by)
  •  Jeremiah 51:13 Her end will come because of her "covetousness" ( greed) America's big problem today is greed. We have a national debt of over five trillion dollars and a personal debt over four trillion. Bankruptcy is at an all time high even with a great economy. You can leave your mortgaged house in your financed car, drive across the country on roads built on bonds which will never be paid, live on the plastic card until you are in so deep you can never get out. Why? Greed!
  •  Jeremiah 50:37 Her men will "become as women" (effeminate, sissy, homosexuals)
  •  Jeremiah 51:30 Her men will "foreborn" to fight (cease to, end) They will remain in their "holds" (safety) Their might hath failed (their force eliminated) and they became as women.
  •  Rev. 14:8 She has made all nations drink of (participate in) her "fornication" (Porneia : harlotry, adultery and incest. This is the root word for Pornography)

Will God ignore and excuse America's sins when:

Pornography, a multibillion dollar a year industry boldly displays itself in our grocery stores, video shops, movies and television programs. When America has more admitted gays and lesbians marching in our streets pressing their gay pride lifestyle and asking for special privileges. When perverted sex is taught to our children as an alternative lifestyle to be accepted as normal.When condoms are not only allowed in school but passed out, but a Bible is forbidden. not.When adultery is accepted as a normal practice, marriage and morals are laughed at, our president set the standard that lying and making a mockery of our laws and justice system is ok because everybody does it. When murder is called " pro choice" and is considered a woman's "right" to kill over one and a half million babies a year. When we have alcoholism and drug addiction from pulpits to the back pews. When church members are asleep, drunken on the cares of this life.

Will America turn around ? I doubt it. She has become so Gospel hardened that nothing touches people anymore. What is the message that needs to be preached today ? Revelation 18:4 " Come out of her my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, that you receive not of her plagues.
