Part Three

By Who's Hand Will Babylons Destruction Come ?

•  Jeremiah 51:53 From "me" (God) shall the spoilers come saith the Lord. God himself will direct nations against her.
•  Jeremiah 50:41 A great nation of the "north" and " kings from the coast" of the earth. ( Directions in the Bible are always in relation to Jerusalem. Russia or Gog and Magog are referred to as the North. Also, Syria, Turkey, Irag, and Iran. Kings of the Coast could refer to several Arab nations of the region.)
•  Jeremiah 50:9 An "assembly of nations" set themselves against her. (Arab nations)
•  Jeremiah 50:42 From a "cruel people" who show no mercy. ( terrorist )
•  Jeremiah 51:11 A people with the spirit of the Medes and Persians.

By What Means Will Babylon be Destroyed ?

•  Jeremiah 50:9 I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of nations from the north country, and they shall set themselves in array against her, and from " thence" (there) shall she be taken. Their "arrows" shall be as of a mighty expert man, none shall return in vain. ( The wording of arrows from a mighty expert man suggest more than normal "arrows" . (How would John describe a nuclear missile? ) These arrows come from more than a normal man and they are not shot in vain, they accomplish what they were sent to do.
•  Jeremiah 50:32 And the most proud shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up, and I will kindle a fire in his "cities" (plural) and it shall devour all round about him. ( How can such destruction occur all at once except Nuclear warfare. It is interesting to note that Russia's warheads are still trained on "population centers" or our major cities while we are disarming and dismantling our military. Our military is presently one half the man power of fifteen year ago.

Notice how suddenly and completely destruction comes to Babylon.

•  Isaiah 13:13 I will shake the Heavens and the earth shall be moved out of her place.
•  Jeremiah 50;46 At the noise of her destruction, the earth is moved, nations cry out.
•  Jeremiah 50:12 She shall be as a "wilderness" a desert made wholly desolate.
•  Jeremiah 50:26 Her "storehouses" will be opened, her goods cast into heaps.
•  Jeremiah 50:30 Her young men shall fall in the streets, men of war shall be cut off.
•  Revelation 18:8 Therefore her plagues shall come in "one day" , death, and mourning and famine, she shall be "utterly burned with fire" for strong is the Lord that judgeth her.
•  Revelation 18:10 Standing afar off for fear of her torment, saying, alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city, for in "one hour" has thy judgment come.
•  Revelation 18:17 For in "one hour" so great riches have come to nought, and every shipmaster and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off.
•  Revelation 18:19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying; alas, alas, that great city wherein we were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness, for in "one hour" is she made desolate.

When is The Most Probable Time This Will Occur ?

•  By Ezekiel 38: 5-6 we know that Gog and Magog ( Russia and her leader) along with other nations will march on Israel. They will be almost completely destroyed with only a sixth part of their army left. So, the destruction of Babylon would likely come "before" this happens. We also know it will be "after" the Church, God's people are caught away.
•  Jeremiah 51:6 Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul , be not cut off in her iniquity, for this is the time of the Lord's vengeance, he will render to her a recompence.
•  Jeremiah 51:45 My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver every man his soul from the fierce anger of the Lord.
•  Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying; Come out of her, my people that ye be not partaker of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. How do we "come out" of this great Babylon? By separating ourselves from her sins, live clean lives, and be ready to meet the Lord when he comes for His Church.

How Do I Know The Church Will be Gone ?

•  Revelation 18:23 And the "Light of the Candle" shall shine no more at all in thee; and the "Voice of the Bridegroom" and of the "Bride" shall be heard no more at all in thee. For thy merchants were the great men of the earth, for by thy sorceries were all nations decieved.
•  Who Are The Candles ? Revelation 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels (pastors) of the seven churches. And the seven Candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven Churches.
•  Who Is The Bridegroom ? None other than Jesus. Matthew 9:15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the Bridegroom mourn, as long as the Bridegroom is with them? But the day will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.
•  Who Is The Bride ? None other than the Church. Revelation 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the last seven plagues, and talked with me saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the Bride, the Lambs wife.

We Will be at The Marriage Supper of The Lamb While This Earth is in Total Chaos

•  Revelation19:1-9 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
